Paul Wehrmann is Senior Counsel in the Richardson Telecom Corridor of Haynes and Boone, LLP. His practice focuses on representation of start-up companies from formation, through private funding, to acquisition or public offering and beyond. While his recent experience shows a particular emphasis on venture capital financings. Mr. Wehrmann also has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, securities regulatory compliance, and corporate formation and regulation. He also has experience acting as in-house counsel. Mr. Wehrmann began his career in 1990 in the Dallas office of Vinson & Elkins L.L.P. and also worked in its Washington, D.C., office during his tenure there.
Mr. Wehrmann holds a Juris Doctorate from the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University, where he served on the Board of Editors of the Journal of Air Law and Commerce. Mr. Wehrmann also holds a bachelor of arts, magna cum laude, from Southern Methodist University, and was the first graduate of its liberal arts honors program.

In addition to being on the Board of Directors of DFW Texchange, Mr. Wehrmann is on the Board of Directors and acts as general counsel for the Video Association of Dallas, and acted as assistant general counsel to the Dallas Internet Society. Mr. Wehrmann is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
