Philip Budd is the Chief Operating Officer of, and a principal investor in, HRFix, Inc.  HRFix is a unique, highly focused, online provider of proven business processes in the Human Resource and Safety compliance arena.  Its web application is located on the Internet at www.complysolutions.com.  Prior to joining HRFix as COO in August 2001, Mr. Budd served as a Director, Merchant Banking, with Stonehenge Capital Corporation and its predecessor, Banc One Capital Corporation of Columbus, OH.  He was also a principal in two mezzanine investment partnerships sponsored by Banc One Corporation.   Mr. Budd had previously worked with two smaller companies in the investment/merchant banking business in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. and as an M&A; lender with a large regional bank based in Dallas, TX.

Mr. Budd is a director on the Boards of two privately-held businesses.  He is also a Board member of the Texchange organization and sits on the Programming Committee.  He is a frequent public speaker on various topics including corporate finance, mergers, recapitalizations and acquisitions involving privately-held companies, as well as Human Resource compliance matters.

Mr. Budd is a 1981 graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana (B.S., Business) and is active with the Centenary Alumni Association.  He earned his M.S.-Finance degree from The Ourso School of Business, Louisiana State University in 1985.
