Ross LeFevre
Ross
is a 39-year veteran of the advertising, marketing and branding
business. He is a unique blend of entrepreneurial drive and strategic
communications savvy. After earning a Journalism degree from LSU
he immediately helped guide a global offshore technology company's
successful marketing efforts. Next, he became a principal in a Houston
ad agency. Then, he founded his own, LeFevre & Associates, which
prospered for 17 years doing work for companies like General Motors,
DuPont and Shell Oil Company. Mojo/Chiat-Day thought enough about
LeFevre & Associates to buy the agency from Ross. Before he
could improve his golf game, Ogilvy&Mather convinced him to
join their firm. There, his clients included IBM, MasterCard, Shell
Oil and Chase Bank, among others. He became Ogilvy's Senior Partner
and Managing Director of the Houston Office. After 10 years with
Ogilvy, in October '98, Ross tried to retire again. But he can't. Today,
he consults for companies engaged in e-commerce, human capital development,
advocacy advertising, automotive, broadband, marketing, energy and
university systems. He's active in charity work locally and
nationally.
John Sturtevant
John
Sturtevant has been an independent writer and marketing consultant
for over 10 years. He's worked with companies from nearly every
business sector to help them understand their business objectives,
define clear marketing goals, and create effective marketing programs.
For four years, John was also a consultant and instructor
at Harvard Business School. As a member of the curriculum development
team, he helped design an effective business writing course for
the MBA program. As an instructor, John helped students learn
to think analytically, develop a logical argument, and communicate
clearly and persuasively in writing. He also developed and
taught two advanced writing courses for undergraduate students at
the European School of Economics in Rome, Italy. Prior to
becoming an independent writer, John was a producer at AVW Audio/Visual
in Houston, Texas. He helped companies create multimedia programs
designed to train, inform, and motivate employees at all levels.
